Creating for good
When I made a list in the midst of the pandemic about what my ideal work-life balance would look like, my top 3 priorities were:
Do work that FEELS good as well as looks good by working with small businesses and non-profits who are giving back to their communities.
Work on a wide range of design projects, and not be limited to just ONE kind of design.
Be able to be home when my kiddo gets off school.
In my role as Art Director with Northwest Brand Design, I am able to find that balance! We believe in the power and ripple effect of strategic design. Design serves a purpose and our purpose is partnering with socially responsible brands to maximize their potential. Our team strives to develop brands that open doors and positively impact audiences and communities. We specialize in working with brands in the wellness industry, healthcare, hospitality, and non-profit organizations.
At the end of the day, design is solving a puzzle.
My favorite part of the branding process is working with clients to figure out their brand values, and how to bring that to life visually. I love doing the research: Pulling together inspiration, color palettes, mood boards, and sketches. My goal is to prioritize function, and make something that is not only beautiful but WORKS.
